What to expect
Everything you need to know to settle in to your new role.

IT Equipment
The way in which you will receive your equipment will depend on whether your role is field, or office based.
If you are a field-based employee your equipment will be delivered via courier to your home address. If you are office based (or a hybrid worker) your equipment will be available in the office on your first day.
Standard equipment provided may differ according to your role, however generally you'll receive the following:
- Laptop (including charger and HDMI adapter)
- Keyboard and mouse
- Monitor (if applicable)
- Laptop bag
Your login details will be provided by your line manager. Once you login for the first time, you must change your password.
If you have any issues, contact your manager as they will be able to support your or point you in the right direction.

Office
Access - Fob
The Nantwich and Milton Keynes offices have access restrictions and you'll be given an access fob. This means that you might not be able to access all rooms/floors. Don't worry, your manager will give you an office tour to show you around.
Meeting Rooms
You can book meeting rooms prior to attending the office via our booking system, Clear Rooms. Your line manager will show you how to do this.
Kitchens and Rest Areas
The Nantwich and Milton Keynes offices have kitchens and rest areas where you can prepare your own lunch and take a well-deserved break. The kitchens are equipped with fridges, microwaves, coffee and tea. Mugs and cutlery are available, but feel free to bring your own mug and/or water bottle.
Parking
Parking is available in both Nantwich and Milton Keynes, however availability each day is on a first come first serve basis.
Hybrid Working
ROI operates a hybrid working model whereby employees work some of their time at home and some of their time in the office.
Talk to your manager to discuss the hybrid working arrangements for your team.

Induction
Each team's induction will differ according to their project requirements; however, all employees will have a
npersonalised induction plan set out by their manager.Your manager will contact you before your first day to talk you through your own plan.

Training
There are some core training courses that you will need to complete as part of your induction. These cover such things as Company Values and Information Security requirements. The training will be delivered either online via our Evolve system or through virtual classrooms.
